It is fast approaching the time of year that Stampin Up! retires items from their catalog. This year they have changed the name from "retiring list" to LAST CHANCE LIST... a much more suiting name as it really is the last chance to order any of the beloved stamp sets or accessories that are placed on "the list." It's been awhile...

but that doesn't mean I have stopped creating! As most of you know in April I gave birth to my baby boy and therefore have not had as much time to create... or at least post what I have been working on. Although nothing could replace my love for paper crafting, I have been spending a lot more time on my sewing hobbies. For now I will share one of my recent projects.

This one is not a stamped creation, but mine nonetheless. I made these invitations for my little brother & his fiance, who recently were married.

simplicity.

I often find that I am drawn to open spaces, clean lines and simple designs. Not always do I create cards this way, but this card is an example of just that, simplicity making a statement.

March is FULL of birthdays for my family and friends. I have at least one birthday a week the entire month, and often 2 or 3. This is a busy birthday card making time for me... because often, I retire my supply and need to make more to build it up again.

I'm Back!

Sorry for the lack of updates, I have been out of town... but now I am back and ready to share with you! Stay tuned for more on current promotions and great ideas coming your way!

Priceless

Thank you to all that were able to make it to the workshop on the 5th. It was fun to have you here and stmaping with me! For those of you that were unable to make it, this is the card we made... perfect for Valentine's Day.

First we layered Close to Cocoa on Whisper White for our card base. The heart is stamped in Pretty in Pink (Priceless IBC p.121), cut out and layered on to a chocolate chip circle (1-3/8" Circle Punch IBC p.185) which is layered on to a Pink Pirouette scallop circle (Scallop Circle Punch IBC p.184) Next we stamped the flourish (Priceless, IBC p.121) in Pretty in Pink onto Whisper White, then matted it with Chocolate Chip with scalloped edge (Scallop Edge Punch, IBC p.185) The card was all brought together with the strip of Pink Pirouette and Chocolate Chip grograin bow.

This card was fun to make and just in time to give to that special somone.

Ink

• Riding Hood Red Classic Stampin' Pad
• Old Olive Stampin' Write marker

Accessories

• Scallop Edge punch
• Sewing machine and thread

Instructions

1. Adhere Candy Lane paper to Riding Hood Red card.
2. Ink love image using Old Olive and Riding Hood Red ink, and stamp on Very Vanilla card stock. Punch hearts from Candy Lane paper using Heart to Heart punch, and adhere small heart to card stock using Stampin' Dimensionals.
3. Punch scalloped border on Old Olive card stock using Scallop Edge punch, and adhere behind Very Vanilla card stock. Sew along left edge of card stock using sewing machine and thread, and adhere to card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
